Microneedling

Microneedling is used to treat a variety of skin concerns, such as improving the appearance of scars, tightening and minimizing pore size, and erasing fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment also assists in boosting skin quality and texture, and reducing the appearance of stretch marks and acne scars. Microneedling is a collagen-inducing treatment that makes use of 11 micro-fine needles ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 millimeters. These needles rotate over the skin using a pen-like device which produces micro tears and punctures on the top layer of the skin, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin, which then helps in maintaining the skin’s firmness and tightness.

The treatment brings relatively instant visible results as it rejuvenates the skin, making it look more glowing from the tears and peripheral inflammation brought about by the micro needles. During the microneedling treatment, a numbing cream is put in, followed by the application of two layers of serum, then sealed by a mask.
