Soft Tissue Fillers

Soft Tissue Fillers

Ageing causes the production of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin to decrease, giving rise to the formation of wrinkles, and loss of facial elasticity and volume. This is commonly manifested around the eye and brow area, cheeks and mouth zones, on the bridge of the nose, and on the jawline. Fine lines and wrinkles take shape in these facial zones as they are thinner than most parts, and due to repetitive facial movements.

These changes brought about by age and lifestyle factors create lines on the forehead, crow’s feet and tear troughs, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines.

Soft Tissue Fillers are substances injected into the skin to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, plump lips, treat deep creases, enhance the appearance of scars, or to reconstruct facial imperfections. These substances can range from hyaluronic acid, collagen, poly-L-lactic acid, to hydrogel polymers, silicone, and viable autologous fat.

At Nish Clinic, we offer a variety of soft tissue fillers. The ideal variant that best suits the area of concern will be determined for you during the consultation. Soft tissue fillers produce subtle results, and are mostly regarded as a primary defensive treatment against the first signs of ageing. It’s commonly used with other treatments for facial rejuvenation.

Dermal fillers are minimal invasive treatments, and do not require major surgery. All soft tissue fillers are temporary, with some lasting for six month, while others can last for up to two years.
